Autumn Leaves – 48 Hour Fiction Film

Please click below to play the short film.

A young man realises that there is a link between the degenerating health of the girl he cares for and the leaves that are falling from the tree outside her window.

Autumn Leaves was devised, filmed, edited and finished in the space of 48 hours as part of the Exeter Phoenix 48 Hour Film Challenge, for the Two Short Nights Film Festival 2011. I shot the piece working alongside director Ali Fitz-Desorgher and the cast and crew of team Mosaic Machine.

The film won Best Film in its category.

The brief stated that the film had to contain the following:

Theme: Hero
Prop: Key
Line: Keep watch for further signs of them. Hopefully a further sighting will occur in the not too distant future.

We had a fantastic little team, no sleep and a generally crazy weekend. It was a brilliant experience – thank you to everyone who helped us out!
